The Earnings Dashboard provides a comprehensive view of corporate earnings announcements, helping you track both upcoming earnings events and recent results. This powerful tool allows you to monitor earnings calendars, analyze expected versus actual results, and identify potential trading opportunities around earnings announcements.

Overview​

The Earnings Dashboard is organized into two main sections:

  • Upcoming Earnings: Calendar view of scheduled earnings announcements
  • Recent Earnings: Results from companies that have already reported

This dashboard helps you:

  • Plan your trading and investment strategy around earnings events
  • Track performance relative to analyst expectations
  • Identify patterns in post-earnings price movements
  • Monitor earnings for companies in your portfolio or watchlist
  • Discover potential trading opportunities based on earnings surprises

Key Components​

Upcoming Earnings​

The Upcoming Earnings section displays a calendar of scheduled earnings announcements:

  • Date Navigation:

    • "Next Week" button to view the following week's calendar
    • Date tabs (e.g., Mar 4, Mar 5, Mar 8, Mar 9, Mar 10) to select specific days
    • Currently selected date is highlighted (e.g., Mar 10)

  • Time Filter:

    • "All" - View all earnings announcements
    • "Before Market" - Filter for companies reporting before market open
    • "After Market" - Filter for companies reporting after market close

  • Earnings Table Columns:

    • Company: Company name and ticker symbol (e.g., "Oracle Corporation ORCL")
    • Market Cap: Company's market capitalization (e.g., $451.9B)
    • Price: Current stock price (e.g., $161.56)
    • Change 1D: One-day price change percentage (e.g., 2.60%)
    • Est. EPS: Estimated earnings per share (e.g., 1.48)
    • Est. Revenue: Estimated revenue (e.g., $14.4B)
    • Time: When the earnings will be released (e.g., "Pre" for pre-market, "Post" for post-market)

  • Color Coding:

    • Green for positive price changes
    • Red for negative price changes

Recent Earnings​

The Recent Earnings section displays results from companies that have already reported:

  • Earnings Table Columns:

    • Company: Company name and ticker symbol (e.g., "CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. CRWD")
    • Market Cap: Company's market capitalization (e.g., $90B)
    • Price: Current stock price (e.g., $365.44)
    • Change 1D: One-day price change percentage (e.g., -6.34%)
    • Change Since Earnings: Price change since the earnings announcement (e.g., -4.52%)
    • EPS (Est/Act): Estimated vs. actual earnings per share (e.g., 0.86 / 1.03)
    • Revenue (Est/Act): Estimated vs. actual revenue (e.g., $1B / $1.1B)
    • Time: When the earnings were released (e.g., "Post" for post-market)
    • Date Reported: When the company reported earnings (e.g., Mar 3)

  • Color Coding:

    • Green for positive price changes and earnings beats
    • Red for negative price changes and earnings misses

How to Use the Earnings Dashboard​

Planning Your Week​

  1. Review the Calendar: Use the date navigation to see which companies are reporting in the coming days
  2. Filter by Timing: Use the "Before Market" and "After Market" filters to focus on specific reporting times
  3. Identify Key Reports: Look for companies with large market caps or significant price movements leading into earnings

Analyzing Recent Results​

  1. Earnings Surprises: Compare actual EPS and revenue against estimates to identify beats or misses
  2. Price Reaction: Analyze the "Change Since Earnings" column to see how the market responded to the report
  3. Pattern Recognition: Look for patterns in how stocks in specific sectors react to earnings beats or misses

Trading Strategies​

  1. Pre-Earnings Positioning: Use the Upcoming Earnings table to plan potential trades ahead of announcements
