The Commodities Dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of global commodity markets, allowing you to monitor price movements, sector performance, trading volumes, and individual commodity metrics across different categories.

Key Components​

Top Performers​

The Top Performers section highlights commodities with the strongest price movements:

  • Name: Commodity name and classification (e.g., Class III Milk Futures, Cocoa)
  • Price: Current price in USD with appropriate units
  • Change %: Percentage change with directional indicators (green for positive, red for negative)
  • Symbol: Trading symbol and exchange identifier (e.g., DCUSD, CCUSD)

This section helps you quickly identify which commodities are showing the strongest positive price momentum across all categories.

Sector Volume​

The Sector Volume section displays trading activity across major commodity sectors:

  • Metals: Volume percentage change compared to average (e.g., +28.26% vs avg)
  • Energy: Volume percentage change compared to average (e.g., +25.00% vs avg)
  • Agriculture: Volume percentage change compared to average (e.g., -14.82% vs avg)
  • Livestock: Volume percentage change compared to average (e.g., +18.42% vs avg)

Each sector shows:

  • Percentage change from average volume
  • Visual indicator (up/down arrow)
  • Color coding (green for above average, red for below average)

This section helps you identify which commodity sectors are experiencing unusual trading activity, which can signal potential price movements or market shifts.

The Sector Performance section shows price movement across major commodity sectors:

  • Metals: Daily percentage change (e.g., +0.16%)
  • Energy: Daily percentage change (e.g., +0.20%)
  • Agriculture: Daily percentage change (e.g., +0.64%)
  • Livestock: Daily percentage change (e.g., -0.03%)

Each sector displays:

  • Percentage change for the current session
  • Color coding (green for positive, red for negative)

This section provides a quick overview of how different commodity sectors are performing, helping you identify sector rotation and relative strength.
